Responsibilities:
- Perform extensive functional, regression and system testing of LIM’s products.
- Communicate with the project lead (and team members) about testing tasks and ensures applications under test meet the defined requirements and passes the user acceptance testing prior to its release.
- Analyses and reviews system requirements, use cases and other design documents to gain overall understanding of the functionality of the new or enhanced application and determines the appropriate level of testing required.
- Participate actively in the design and build phases, to aim at producing high quality deliverables.- Provide recommendations on Quality Assurance methodologies and test environment improvements.
Job Description :
Seeking a strong QA Analyst whose focus is to ensure that new and existing features of our products are released with the highest quality. The QA Analyst will work closely with cross functional teams, developer teams and other QA teams to ensure a timely and high quality delivery. This is a position that requires an individual with an analytical mind, a proactive work ethic, and a persevering attitude.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years experience working as a software testing analyst.
- Understand software testing cycle and defect cycles.
- Assesses and prepares test data per requirements.
- Experience in creating clear and detailed functional test cases using Mercury Quality Center or similar tool from requirements documentation.
- Ability to determine areas for automation.
- Experience in creating automation test scripts using tools like QTP, Rational Robot, etc.
- Experience in creating clear and detailed bug reports using Jira or similar tool.
- Assures that all products under test are inspected to meet standards for quality, security, performance, usability and other metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
