* Candidate should have knowledge of photolithography and resolution enhancement techniques with exposure to 65nm, 45nm technologies. Experience with design shape manipulation tools from Mentor Graphics, Cadence or Synopsys is a definite plus. Experience in developing software infrastructure incorporating design or physical verification tools also desirable. Candidate is expected to interact with process engineers and design teams to provide proximity corrections to design patterns. Alteration of existing code to address problems in production parts is also expected. Typical work includes development of OPC runset code, optimization, regression and testing. Prior experience with design is a plus. Experience with Mentor Calibre SVRF, Cadence Assura or Cadence Virtuoso, software skills such as C / C++ coding, shell /TCL / Perl scripting, object oriented programming a plus.
