ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either
1. a citizen of India, OR
2. a subject of Nepal, OR
3. subject of Bhutan, OR
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 1, 2, 3 & 4 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates has been issued to him/her by the Government of India. The candidate should be a domicile of Karnataka.
AGE (as on 01.07.2010) :
Minimum 18 years - Maximum 26 years for Clerical Cadre. Candidates born between 30.07.1984 & 30.07.1992 both days inclusive are only eligible to apply.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 01.07.2010)
• A degree from any recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent.
• OR A pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/11th standard of 11+3 pattern/Pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PC) marks in the aggregate.
• OR Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government or Union Territory.
• OR Pass with minimum 60% mark(55% marks for SC/ST/PC/XC) in aggregate in Matriculation/Senior school certificate (Old pattern) or equalent. AND
• Proficiency in local language (Kannada) is essential.
• Knowledge of English is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Computer knowledge

• Application fee including postage should be paid by a single Demand Draft / Bankers’ Cheque issued by KRISHNA GRAMEENA BANK Or a Scheduled Commercial Bank to be drawn as below – ”Krishna Grameena Bank Recruitment Account – Clerical” payable at Gulbarga.
• Candidate must write his/ her name, date of birth & address on the reverse side of the Bank Draft/ Bankers’ Cheque.
• Payment of postage charges by Cash / Cheques / Money Orders etc will not be accepted.
• Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and postage charges once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other selection process.
Procedure to Apply :
• All eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application Format given at the end of this advertisement to reach on or before the last date for receipt of applications. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
• A candidate must fill the application form in CAPITAL LETTERS in his/ her own handwriting.
• Application should be in A-4 size paper (11.69” x 8.27”) and should be strictly as per the format and contains no correction / alteration/ over writings. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application – Caste/ tribe/ community/ disability/ defence service certificate in case candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC/EXS.
