Desired Candidate Profile :
* Candidate must possess at least an Engineering Degree or MCA in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Two to four years of software testing experience
* Experience in Microsoft Technology or Java or Linux platforms
* Expertise in Black box and white box testing
* Exposure to test automation tools such as WinRunner, LoadRunner etc is desirable
* Good understanding of quality processes like CMM will be an advantage
* The successful candidates should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, a solid understanding of standard testing techniques and methodologies, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description :
1. Design test scenarios and test cases from functional and implementation specifications.
2. Perform hands-on planned and ad-hoc testing.
3. Log clear, concise, accurate defect reports, and verify fixes for defects.
4. Reproduce client reported issues, verify fixes, and improve testing to prevent further escalations.
5. Track and provide clear, accurate and prompt status reports to project team regarding testing progress.
6. Work effectively in a project team with a strong customer service orientation
